Guinness Storehouse

I have had the pleasure of engaging Martello Media for creative work at the Guinness Storehouse... This was a major and complex project. Martello won this on supplying a very creative and indeed commercial solution that has benefitted the business enormously. Mark Leslie and his team are very creative, energetic and easy to work with. It was a pleasure to have worked with them at the Guinness Storehouse.

Cosmos at the Castle

As the commissioner of the project, I thoroughly enjoyed working with Martello who took a very creative approach to a challenging brief. The exhibition that they delivered all surpassed expectations, and was delivered to budget and programme. Cosmos has been hugely successful and popular, both as an educational resource centre for Irish schools, and as tourist attraction for Cork.

Digital Media Awards 2011

Glasnevin Museum Dublin

Creative work on what was clearly a difficult project to work with. Despite the sensitivity of the subject matter they have delivered a work which is impressive and will be appreciated by the user-base. The level of detail in the final project is nothing short of exceptional.

The exhibition design showcases an impressive interpretation of the history of the cemetery. The level of user interaction in the exhibits leaves the visitor with their own unique experience of the museum and engages the visitor in a visually stimulating and informative manner. An excellent design that delivers all of its objectives.

Thea award for Outstanding Achievement

Glasnevin Museum Dublin

The committee feels the Glasnevin Museum deserves an Award for Outstanding Achievement because it stretches the format for presenting history in innovative and compelling ways by tracing the social, historical, political, and artistic development of Ireland through the stories of the 1.2 million people interred at the cemetery since 1832. Located in Ireland's largest and most recognizable cemetery, the Glasnevin Museum blends modern database technology, impressive interactive experiences and captivating setwork to bring to life human beliefs about death and dying, historical burial practices and other death/afterlife issues, as well as the stories of many recognizable icons of Ireland's past, including the Famous Liberator Daniel O'Connell.
