An Post Museum

This exhibition is situated in a national shrine. Dublin’s General Post Office was the insurgent headquarters during the 1916 Rising against British rule. Three themes are covered: the development of postal services in Ireland over the centuries, philately and stamp design, and the dramatic events in the building during the Rising.
