Cosmos at the Castle

The international award-winning science centre in Blackrock Castle in Cork highlights recent discoveries on Earth and in space.

The origins of space and life itself are examined in ‘Cosmos at the Castle’ in Blackrock, Co. Cork. Martello researched and designed the space and content for the exhibition and also produced all of the digital animation for the four large interactive ‘Story So Far’ walls.

The ‘Story So Far’ takes the visitor on a journey from the Big Bang to today’s most recent discoveries. It examines in detail the origins of life on Earth and looks at the possible evidence for life outside our solar system.

Cosmos was the first Irish-designed project to receive an International THEA ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’..
